Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Senior Medical Director for Clinical Informatics to lead Epic-enabled technology across Center Operations and Quality/Stars. You will align clinical strategy with organizational goals, shepherd enterprise governance, and ensure patient safety and outcomes guide technology decisions.

The role requires hands-on clinical and Epic build expertise, with 0.2–0.8 FTE clinical leadership and periodic travel.

Qualifications

Licensed clinician—MD/DO, NP, or PA in good standing.
Willingness to remain in clinical practice (~20% clinical FTE).
10–12 years of relevant work experience.
Epic Builder training and certification (or willingness to obtain).
Minimum 5 years of ambulatory clinical practice experience.
Experience in clinical informatics, safety, quality improvement, or workflow redesign.

Responsibilities

Lead as senior product leader for Clinic Operations and Quality & Stars within Epic infrastructure.
Drive enterprise Epic optimization to improve clinical workflows, efficiency, safety and outcomes.
Collaborate with clinical/business leaders to translate priorities into Epic workflows, decision support, reporting, and tools.
Support Epic upgrades, testing, implementation, and change management; sponsor enterprise go-lives and major releases.
Monitor adoption of Epic enhancements and drive continuous improvements.
