Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks a Senior Medical Director of Clinical Informatics to lead Epic-enabled technology and align it with organizational priorities. You will provide clinical insight, partner with executive teams, and drive care pathways, safety, and outcomes across the enterprise.

The role requires hands-on Epic build expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to translate clinical needs into actionable roadmaps. This is a full-time, remote-friendly leadership role with limited travel.

Qualifications

Licensed clinician with MD/DO, NP or PA in good standing.
Willing to maintain clinical practice (~20% clinical FTE).
10-12 years of relevant work experience.
Epic Builder training and certification (or willingness to obtain).
Minimum 5 years of ambulatory clinical practice experience.
Experience in clinical informatics, safety, quality improvement, or healthcare operations.
Strong executive presence with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
Strong communication and change management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead as senior product leader for Clinic Operations and Quality & Stars domains.
Drive enterprise Epic optimization to improve workflows, quality and patient safety.
Translate priorities into Epic workflows, decision support and clinician tools.
Support Epic upgrades, testing, implementation, and governance for go-lives.
Monitor adoption and effectiveness of Epic enhancements enterprise-wide.
