Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Senior Clinical Informatics Systems Analyst to support operation and administration of clinical information systems across a large multi-regional healthcare system. You will collaborate with clinical and technical colleagues to enhance workflows, provide incident management, and guide testing and implementation of clinical applications.

The role requires strong knowledge of clinical informatics, data management, and excellent project management and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of clinical/technical application experience in lieu of degree is strongly preferred.
• Preferred 5–7 years of clinical information systems experience or equivalent.
• Epic certification/accreditation/self-proficiency in relevant applications required; multiple certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Clinical Informatics colleagues to drive strategic goals and vision for the department and CHRISTUS Health.
• Develop, test, implement, support, and maintain assigned clinical applications, solutions and business processes to meet operational and technical requirements.
• Provide ongoing end-user clinical information systems support with upgrades, new releases and enhanced functionality.
• Communicate changes, downtime procedures, and new functionality to clinical end users of the EMR.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage testing projects, ensuring quality assurance and coordinated status reporting.
