Job summary

The CHRISTUS Health Clinical Informatics Systems Analyst Senior is responsible for operating and administering clinical information systems while partnering with clinical and technical teams to improve workflows and patient safety. The role supports incident, change, and problem management within ITIL, and requires strong healthcare IT knowledge and independent work capability.

Responsibilities include deploying updates, testing complex applications, and providing on-going end-user support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of clinical/technical experience preferred.
• Preferred 5–7 years in clinical information systems or equivalent.
• Epic certification or proficiency in relevant applications required; multiple certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support testing initiatives for complex clinical applications.
• Provide end-user support and oversee upgrades and new releases.
• Coordinate with IS, Quality, and Finance to meet business and financial needs.
• Communicate changes and downtime procedures related to the EMR system.
