Job summary

AbbVie Data Science is seeking an experienced leader to align CDSO study programs with strategic objectives and governance across global teams. You will coordinate operational activities, optimize study execution with analytics, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout trials.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, coaching, and process improvements in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment, with focus on data strategy and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, CS, life sciences or equivalent.
• 10+ years project management or pharma/clinical research experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex programs.
• Knowledge of clinical trial processes, governance, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Align CDSO study teams with program- and study-level strategies and governance.
• Serve as single operational lead from CDSO for assigned programs and studies.
• Coordinate CDSO teams to meet objectives and engage global functional teams.
• Use analytics and PM tools to optimize study execution and track progress.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, ICH guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory inspections.
• Coach/mentor team members and lead CDSO and cross-functional improvements.
• Identify training needs and share lessons learned across functions.
