Job summary

AbbVie Data Science is seeking a senior leader to drive programs within Clinical Data Strategy and Operations (CDSO). You will coordinate CDSO study teams, align with program strategies, and ensure delivery against study objectives across cross-functional groups.

The role requires deep understanding of clinical trial processes, healthcare experience, and the ability to influence without direct authority. A strong Lean/PM background is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management information systems, computer science, life sciences or equivalent.
• Master's preferred. PMP Certification or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt desired.

Responsibilities

• Aligns CDSO study teams with program- and study-level strategies.
• Acts as single point of contact and operational lead from CDSO for assigned programs.
• Interacts with management and cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
• Uses operational analytics and project management tools to optimize execution and track progress.
• Ensures adherence to GCP, ICH Guidelines and AbbVie SOPs.
• Participates in oversight of vendors and feedback on trial operations.
• Coaches and mentors team members and develops their skills.
• Leads CDSO and cross-functional innovation and process improvements.
• May supervise staff or contract resources.
