Job summary

AbbVie in Illinois is seeking a CDSO-focused Data Science lead to align study teams with program strategies and act as the operational lead for clinical data strategy and operations. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive timelines, and monitor study progress using analytics.

We seek 3+ years in pharma/clinical data, strong leadership, and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority, with a preference for PMP/Lean Six Sigma familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, computer science, life sciences or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• PMP Certification or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt desired.
• 3+ years pharma/clinical research/data management/healthcare experience or 5+ years of project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Align CDSO study teams with program- and study-level strategies and lead the CDSO Study Team.
• Serve as single point of contact and operational lead, coordinating CDSO study teams.
• Influence cross-functional team members to achieve objectives and timelines.
• Use operational analytics and project tools to monitor progress and manage resources.
• Ensure compliance with GCPs, SOPs and applicable regulations; mentor junior staff.
