Job summary

AbbVie Data Science is seeking a skilled CDSO lead to ensure successful delivery of program- and study-level accountabilities. You will align study teams, act as the CDSO operational lead, and coordinate cross-functional resources across global teams.

The role requires leadership, strategic influence, and strong analytical and communication skills to drive study execution and process improvement within regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, CS, life sciences or equivalent; Master’s preferred
• 3+ years pharma/clinical research/data management or 5+ years project management experience
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and clinical technology; managing a clinical trial from initiation to completion is preferred
• Demonstrated effective leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence others without direct authority
• Demonstrated effective communication and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Aligns CDSO study teams with program- and study-level strategies and leads the CDSO Study Team
• Acts as single point of contact and operational lead from CDSO for assigned studies
• Coordinates CDSO study teams to meet objectives and connects global cross-functional teams
• Uses operational analytics and project management tools to optimize execution and resources
• Identifies issues affecting timelines or quality and develops options and solutions
• Coaches and mentors Data Science Associates and may supervise contract resources
