Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Data Science CDSO Lead in New Jersey to drive study-level operations across cross-functional teams. You’ll align program strategies, manage study execution, and ensure adherence to GCP/ICH and AbbVie SOPs while coordinating vendors and resources.

The role requires pharma/clinical data experience and strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to influence without direct authority and deliver on milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, CS, life sciences or equivalent. Master’s preferred.
• PMP Certification or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt desired.

Responsibilities

• Leads the CDSO Study Team for assigned studies and serves as the CDSO operational lead.
• Coordinates across cross-functional teams to meet study objectives.
• Engages global teams and stakeholders to align study plans and timelines.
• Uses analytics and PM tools to track progress, resources, and study status reports.
• Ensures compliance with GCP/ICH, AbbVie SOPs, and regulatory standards.
• Coaches Data Science Associates and may supervise contract resources.
• Contributes to CDSO and cross-functional process improvements.
