Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a remote Health Data Analyst to lead analytics projects and collaborate with clinicians and executives. The role supports the Quality Abstraction department with data-driven insights and BI reporting.

You will work full time, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with a remote work setup and benefits eligibility. The compensation ranges from $35.50 to $53.25 per hour, with standard health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health related fields or RN is required.
• 2 years experience in health related field required.
• Experience with healthcare data in a healthcare organization strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and executes multiple, concurrent projects with limited supervision.
• Leads evaluation of service requests to understand business and technical issues.
• Collaborates with client to understand business needs, scope and deliverables.
• Leads ongoing client interface to develop analytic approaches.
• Develops population definitions to meet project needs.
• Recommends processes balancing data needs with urgency and action requirements.
• Uses statistical techniques to describe and evaluate data for management action.
• Develops simple to complex BI reports and educates clients on data concepts.
