Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a health data professional for a fully remote role supporting analytics and quality metrics. You will manage multiple projects, collaborate with clients to define data needs, and develop BI reports using diverse tools.

The role emphasizes health data expertise, population definitions, and data quality considerations. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s in health-related fields or be a registered nurse, with at least 2 years in a health-related setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health related fields or RN is required.
• 2 years' experience in health related field is required.
• Experience with healthcare data and ECQM/quality metrics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and executes multiple, concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
• Leads evaluation of service requests to understand business and technical issues.
• Collaborates with the client to understand business needs, project scope and deliverables.
• Leads ongoing client interface to develop analytic approaches.
• Develops population definitions to meet project needs.
• Recommends data processes balancing data needs and urgency.
• Understands data context and reports with other initiatives to develop sustainable solutions.
• Applies statistical techniques to describe/evaluate data and creates BI reports.
• Provides value-added analysis and recommended follow-up actions.
• Supports data integration from multiple sources into a single dataset.
• Leads review and validation of complex, custom datasets.
• Prepares methods to deliver results and facilitates data discussions.
• Develops reports using various BI tools.
• Educates clients on clinical/financial concepts related to data.
• Consults with clients to quantify operational performance within data limits.
• Guides clients through data issues and data quality considerations.
