Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Health Analytics Specialist to lead data projects and deliver actionable insights for clinical and operational teams. You will collaborate with clients to define data needs, develop population definitions, and apply BI tools to generate reports that drive decisions.

The role requires strong statistical reasoning, data integration, and clear communication of complex results to non-technical stakeholders; remote work is available for qualified states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health-related field or RN.
• Minimum 2 years experience in health-related field.
• Experience with healthcare data strongly preferred; ECQM and quality metrics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and executes multiple, concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
• Leads evaluation of service requests to clarify business and technical issues.
• Collaborates with clients to understand business needs, scope and deliverables.
• Leads ongoing client interface to develop analytic approaches.
• Develops population definitions to meet project needs.
• Recommends data delivery methods balancing urgency and data requirements.
• Uses statistical techniques to describe data and display results for action.
• Develops reports using BI tools and educates clients on data concepts.
