Latham & Watkins is seeking a Senior Specialist for the Austin office to lead and manage the Firm's client events program. You will plan, coordinate, and execute events, managing budgets, vendors, and communications, while partnering with the Manager - Client Events to ensure successful outcomes.

The role requires five years in business development or marketing within a professional services environment, and an events qualification is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a business development or marketing role.
• Events qualification preferred.
• Experience in a professional services environment preferred.

Aufgaben

• Pro-actively coordinating various aspects of the event lifecycle, including planning meetings, checklists, budgets, expense processing, vendor management, onsite and virtual platform management, data management, post-event analysis.
• Curating targeted invitations lists for each event, working closely with stakeholders and e-marketing team
• Drafting event communications and collateral that align with Latham branding
• Developing and controlling budgets for each event; identifying, negotiating, and achieving cost savings with venues and vendors
• Continuously staying abreast of event best practices as well as market and industry trends
• Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
