Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking a Manager – Client Events, US to lead planning and execution of client-facing events across a portfolio including seminars, conferences, sponsorships, and hospitality experiences. The role supports hybrid/in-office work from Downtown LA, Orange County, San Diego, San Francisco, or Silicon Valley, coordinating with partners and BD teams.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), an events qualification preferred, and a minimum seven years of cumulative

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Events qualification preferred.
• Minimum of six years in a law firm or professional services.
• Total seven years of cumulative experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor to partners and senior stakeholders on event strategy, format, audience targeting, and execution.
• Partner with Business Development to align event strategies with objectives across practices, industries and markets.
• Provide senior-level oversight of event logistics and execution during planning and on-site.
• Lead event budgeting, spend tracking, vendor negotiations and ROI reporting.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Brand & Communications and other teams for consistent branding.
• Protect confidential and proprietary information handled by the firm.
