Job summary

MSIG USA is seeking an experienced claims professional to investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex commercial automobile and general liability claims. You will manage reserves, negotiate settlements, and coordinate with defense counsel and internal stakeholders.

The role requires proactive communication with insureds, brokers, and account teams, ensuring compliance with policy language and regulatory requirements. Travel may be required as part of mediations and trials.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressively responsible commercial casualty claim experience.
• Experience handling complex automobile and general liability claims.
• Experience managing litigated claims and negotiating settlements.

Responsibilities

• Investigates, evaluates, and resolves complex commercial auto and general liability claims.
• Establishes and maintains reserves with analysis.
• Negotiates settlements within authority and supports mediations/trials.
• Maintains proactive communication with insureds, brokers, and internal partners.
• Reviews policy language and coverage issues and escalates as needed.
