Job summary

MSIG USA, the US-based subsidiary of MS&AD Insurance Group, seeks a senior claims professional to independently investigate, evaluate, strategize, negotiate and resolve highly complex commercial auto and general liability claims, including severe bodily injury and significant exposure. You will lead technical claim management, reserving and stakeholder communication in line with company guidelines.

This role emphasizes coordinating with defense counsel, driving disciplined settlement

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible commercial casualty claim experience.
• Experience handling highly complex auto and general liability claims.
• AIC, CPCU or comparable designation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Independently investigates, analyzes and resolves highly complex commercial auto and general liability claims.
• Develops and executes comprehensive claim strategies addressing liability, damages, coverage and exposure.
• Directs high-exposure litigation in partnership with defense counsel and manages related budgets and plans.
• Maintains complete, timely claim system documentation and regulatory compliance.
