Job summary

MSIG USA is seeking a Senior Claims professional to independently investigate, evaluate, strategize and resolve highly complex commercial auto and general liability claims, including severe bodily injury and high exposure matters.

You will lead claim strategy, reserving, and litigation management, serving as a technical resource and coordinating with defense counsel and stakeholders to achieve timely, fair resolutions. Travel may be required for mediations and meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible commercial casualty claim experience.
• Experience managing litigated claims and settlements.
• Experience with catastrophic injury, wrongful death, excess exposure and coverage issues preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and resolves highly complex commercial auto and general liability claims.
• Develops and executes comprehensive claim strategies addressing liability, damages, and coverage.
• Establishes and maintains reserves with rationale based on exposure and strategy.
• Directs high-exposure litigation with defense counsel and manages budgets and experts.
• Escalates significant developments promptly and communicates with stakeholders.
