Job summary

MSIG USA is seeking a senior claims professional to independently investigate, evaluate and resolve highly complex commercial auto and general liability claims, including high-exposure litigation. You will drive claim strategy, reserving and negotiations in line with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of auto and general liability claims, liability analysis, damages, litigation management, reserving.
• Ability to interpret policies, endorsements, contracts, pleadings, medical info and expert reports.
• Sound judgment and disciplined decision-making to identify claim severity and elevate issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication to explain complex issues to partners and stakeholders.
• Strong organization and file-management skills to handle multiple complex matters and deadlines.
• Credentials: AIC, SCLA, CPCU or similar designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze and resolve highly complex auto and general liability claims.
• Develop and execute claim strategies addressing liability, damages and coverage.
• Establish reserves and advise on settlements within authority with rationale.
• Direct high-exposure litigation with defense counsel, including plans and budgets.
• Maintain complete documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
