Job summary

Progressive is seeking a senior claims specialist to play a critical role in resolving injury claims, including complex and high-risk cases that may involve attorney representation. You’ll investigate, consult with police, medical professionals, claimants and others, and determine coverage, liability and total claim value.

This is a hybrid role with office days about four per month for meetings, training, and collaboration; you can also work in-office more than four days per month if you prefer.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling.
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree.
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk claims, including attorney-represented cases.
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident.
• Determine coverage, liability and the total value of the claim.
