Job summary

Progressive Insurance is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist in Washington to investigate complex injury claims, including those with attorney involvement. You will determine coverage, liability and the claim’s total value while coordinating with police, medical professionals, claimants and other parties.

The role is hybrid, requiring some office days for meetings and training, with strong coaching and opportunities for in-office work if desired.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling OR
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims, including attorney-represented cases
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident
• Assist in determining coverage, liability, and total claim value
