Progressive is seeking a claims specialist in California to handle large-loss injury claims valued over $60k. You will investigate intricate claims, consult with police, medical professionals, claimants and others, and use gathered information to determine coverage, liability, and the total value of the claim.

This is a hybrid role requiring occasional in-office participation about four days per month, with coaching from a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Six years of relevant work experience with three years in claims handling OR
• Three years in claims handling with a bachelor’s degree OR
• Five years of relevant work experience with three years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Investigate large-loss injury claims valued over $60k.
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others.
• Determine coverage, liability and the total value of the claim.
