Job summary

Progressive is seeking a senior claims specialist to lead the investigation of injury claims, determining coverage, liability and the total value of the claim. You’ll consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident to gather information for coverage decisions.

This is a hybrid role, requiring about four days per month in the office for meetings, training and collaboration, with the option to work more in-office if desired.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with 2+ years in claims handling.
• 2+ years in claims handling with a bachelor's degree.
• 4+ years in relevant work with 2+ years in claims handling and an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims.
• Consult with police, medical professionals, claimants and others.
• Determine coverage, liability and total claim value.
• Collaborate with the team during meetings and training.
