Job summary

AvonRisk, a leading specialty risk manager for self-insured organizations, seeks a senior claims leader in Glendale, CA. You will oversee a claims program, coach supervisors, and ensure compliance with Labor Code provisions while partnering with clients to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of progressive claims experience.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, procedures and contracts.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills for claims supervisors.
• Knowledge of Labor Code provisions related to workers' comp.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent client relations and conduct data-driven studies.
• Analyze data to determine solutions related to claims, staffing, workflow, and reporting.
• Ensure timely completion of performance reviews for the claims program.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and feedback to supervisors and staff.
• Ensure all claims comply with applicable statutes and company rules.
