Job summary

Progressive is seeking a claims specialist to handle large-loss injury claims valued over $60k. You will investigate complex cases and consult with police, medical professionals, claimants, and others to determine coverage, liability, and claim value.

This is a hybrid role requiring about four days per month in-office for meetings, training, and collaboration, with the option to be in-office more often if desired. Progression through ongoing coaching is provided to support your development.

Qualifications

• Six years of relevant work experience with three years in claims handling OR
• Three years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR
• Five years of relevant work experience with three years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Investigate large-loss injury claims valued over $60k, including complex and high-risk cases.
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others to gather information for coverage, liability and value determinations.
• Collaborate with team in a hybrid office setting, four days per month for meetings and training.
