Job summary

Progressive is seeking a claims specialist to handle large-loss injury claims valued over $60k. The role involves investigating complex cases, consulting with police, medical experts, claimants and others, and making determinations on coverage and liability.

The position is hybrid, with four days per month in the office for meetings and coaching, plus opportunities for more in-office work if preferred. Strong communication and litigation-related knowledge will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Six years of relevant work experience with three years in claims handling
• Three years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree
• Five years of relevant work experience with three years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Investigate large-loss injury claims valued over $60k and determine coverage, liability, and claim value
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident
• Collaborate with team during hybrid work days and participate in meetings, training, and case reviews
