Job summary

Progressive is seeking a claims specialist to help resolve large-loss injury claims valued over $60k. You will investigate complex and high-risk claims and consult with police, medical professionals, claimants, and others involved in the accident to determine coverage, liability, and total claim value.

This is a hybrid role with four days per month in the office for meetings, training, and collaboration; you will also receive coaching from a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Six years of relevant work experience with three years in claims handling.
• Three years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree, OR
• Five years of relevant work experience with three years in claims handling and an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Investigating complex and high-risk claims – which may have some litigation features – consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident.
• The information gathered will be used while determining coverage, liability and the total value of the claim.
