Job summary

Progressive in Texas is seeking a senior claims specialist to investigate complex and high-risk injury claims, coordinating with police, medical professionals, claimants and others to assess coverage, liability and total claim value.

This hybrid role requires reporting to an office about four days a month for meetings and training; in-office option is available more frequently. Location: Texas claims offices, including Austin and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling OR
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims, including attorney-represented cases
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved
• Determine coverage, liability and total claim value using collected information
