Job summary

Blattner Company is seeking a Senior Engineer – Civil & Structures to advance civil and structural engineering for utility-scale renewable energy projects. The role balances preconstruction/estimating and project engineering, guiding designs from concept through construction and closeout.

You will collaborate with Owners, EORs, Estimating, and Construction teams to ensure safe, economical, and constructible solutions, while mentoring junior staff and leading multiple projects with high quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited college.
• EIT or FE certification within one year of hire.
• 4+ years of progressive civil and structural engineering experience on utility-scale renewable energy, industrial, EPC, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil and structural engineering solutions for utility-scale renewable energy projects (estimating or project execution).
• Lead civil/structural design development, Basis of Design (BOD), engineering reviews, RFIs, and technical deliverables.
• Review drawings, structural calculations, grading plans, foundation designs, and third-party packages for quality and constructability.
