Job summary

Blattner Company seeks a Manager I - Project Engineering, Wind, to lead a team of engineers delivering utility-scale wind designs from bid through closeout. You will coordinate across Engineering, Construction, Supply Chain, and other project teams, coach staff, and drive standard design approaches while managing schedules and budgets.

The role requires a BS in engineering (ABET-accredited), a PE license or PMP, 7+ years in energy/construction, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited college or equivalent.
• PE license or PMP certification (or equivalent) required and to be obtained within one year of hire if not held.
• Seven or more years of progressive engineering experience in energy/construction with leadership experience.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.
• Travel up to 50% of time, depending on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team contributions across the full engineering lifecycle from pre-construction to closeout, emphasizing schedule conformance and prioritizing high-impact design work.
• Deliver economical engineering designs that meet project requirements and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Estimating, and Construction to approve designs and balance resources across projects.
