Job summary

Blattner Company is hiring an Engineer I – Civil & Structures to support utility-scale solar projects from preconstruction through construction. You will work with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to review drawings, develop civil and structural designs, perform quantity takeoffs, and ensure code compliance.

Applicants should hold an ABET-accredited degree in civil/structural/mechanical engineering and an EIT/FE certification.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or FE certificate preferred.
• Experience or interest in heavy civil, industrial, or renewables projects.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings and assist with civil and structural designs.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and support constructability reviews.
• Coordinate with Engineers of Record and cross-functional teams (Estimating, SCM, Construction, PM).
• Contribute to design information alignment for construction teams to build projects.
