Job summary

Blattner is seeking a Senior Engineer – Civil & Structures to deliver safe, cost-effective civil and structural engineering solutions for utility-scale renewable energy projects. The role supports preconstruction estimating or project engineering, guiding concepts through construction and closeout.

You’ll develop conceptual designs, review packages, evaluate constructability, and coordinate with Owners and Engineers of Record.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering.
• EIT or FE certification or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• 4+ years progressive civil/structural experience on utility-scale renewables, EPC, or infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil and structural engineering solutions for utility-scale renewables through estimating or project execution.
• Lead design development, Basis of Design documentation, reviews, RFIs, and deliverables across the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings, calculations, grading plans, and foundation designs for quality and constructability.
• Collaborate with Owners, Engineers of Record, Estimating, Integrated Supply Chain, and Construction teams.
• Support quantity takeoffs, value engineering, constructability reviews, and risk assessments to improve proposals and execution.
