Hargrove Engineers + Constructors seeks a civil/structural engineer to perform complete designs for diverse projects. You will develop conceptual layouts, prepare preliminary designs, material take-offs, and detailed calculations while coordinating with drafting teams and other disciplines.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree (B.S./M.S.), strong knowledge of IBC/ASCE/AISC/ACI, and experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Formación

Knowledge and application of the International Building Code and associated standards (ASCE, AISC, ACI).
Expertise with civil/structural analysis software and interpreting results.
Knowledge of CAD software, either AutoCAD, Microstation or both.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Good communication skills, verbal and written.
Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering.
Professional Engineering registration preferred.

Responsabilidades

Perform all aspects for complete designs of civil/structural engineering assignments under supervision.
Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient construction solutions.
Produce estimate level preliminary designs and material take-offs.
Create design calculations and sketches for construction material.
Check calculations for accuracy and conformance with codes and specs.
Assist drafting team with layout and detailing problems.
Lead small to medium teams coordinating civil/structural efforts.
Perform fieldwork to collect data and support construction.
