Thomas & Hutton is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Civil Site Development (PE) to lead complex site development projects across the Southeast. You will mentor multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and drive business growth while upholding company standards.

The role requires a PE license, a Civil Engineering degree, and 12+ years of experience in civil design and project management. You’ll supervise engineers, develop scopes, schedules, and budgets, and use tools like AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 12+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple civil site development projects for public and private clients.
• Oversee construction drawings for water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets to ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead proposal preparation and fee development for business growth.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
• Visit client offices, job sites, and consultant locations to support execution.
• Oversee engineering work and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Monitor project performance using Vision, MS Project or similar tools.
• Supervise and mentor engineers and technicians.
• Communicate project status, risks, and solutions to clients and leadership.
