Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead large-scale civil construction projects in Upington, Northern Cape. You will drive planning, budgeting, scheduling and stakeholder relations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of dams, roads and industrial facilities.

The role requires strong leadership, negotiation, and comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and project finance. A highly rewarding opportunity with potentiel for executive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) or SACPCMP registration is highly desirable.
• At least 10 years' experience delivering large-scale civil construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and completion of large-scale civil construction projects.
• Develop and manage project budgets and ensure profitability.
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules and monitor progress.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Lead project teams including site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Mitigate risks and proactively resolve issues and conflicts.
• Oversee quality control to meet high workmanship standards.
