Job summary

SES Constructors LLC is seeking a Lead Estimator for our civil construction team. The role focuses on preparing detailed estimates for heavy civil projects based on plans, specs, and scopes of work.

You will collaborate with field and office teams to ensure accurate and timely bids. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA options, employer-paid life and disability, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in construction management or civil engineering.
• Experience reading and interpreting contract documents, drawings, and scopes.
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling and estimating software such as Bid2Win or HCSS.

Responsibilities

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates based on project size, scope, and mix.
• Provide detailed quantity takeoffs and material cost assessments.
• Source and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes for best value.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans with the project team.
• Coordinate with field and office professionals to prepare estimates.
