Job summary

SES Constructors LLC is expanding its civil construction team and seeks a Lead Estimator to prepare detailed self-perform heavy civil cost estimates from plans and specs. The role emphasizes collaboration with field and office teams, managing quantity takeoffs, and evaluating subcontractor quotes for best value.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering and extensive experience with Bid2Win or HCSS Heavy Bid.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering is required.
• Experience with self-perform civil infrastructure estimates is required.
• Proficient in reading contract documents, drawings and schedules.
• Experience with Bid2Win (B2W) or HCSS Heavy Bid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates based on project size and scope.
• Create detailed quantity takeoffs and cost assessments.
• Source and analyze subcontractor quotes for best value.
• Identify risks and plan mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with field and office teams to prepare estimates.
• Support constructability reviews and bid-day assessments.
• Interact with operations post-award to address site conditions.
