Job summary

SES Constructors LLC is seeking a Lead Estimator to join our civil construction team, remotely based with EST/CST availability. You will prepare detailed estimates for self-perform heavy civil work, coordinate with suppliers, and drive timely bid submissions.

The role requires extensive plan interpretation, CPM scheduling familiarity, and experience with Bid2Win or HCSS, ensuring thorough risk assessment and value engineering opportunities. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering.
• Experience in self-perform civil infrastructure estimating (earthwork, utilities, dewatering, roadwork).
• Proficiency with estimating software such as Bid2Win (B2W) and HCSS Heavy Bid.

Responsibilities

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates based on project scope and plans.
• Provide quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns for materials and labor.
• Source and evaluate subcontractor/vendor quotes for best value.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with field and office teams to finalize estimates.
• Support constructability reviews and bid reviews to meet submission deadlines.
• Interface with project team, designers, and subs for value engineering.
