Job summary

WSP seeks Senior/Principal Civil Engineers to lead delivery on water sector projects. You will head multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain strong client relationships across the AMP8 programme. Opportunities for mentoring, training and progression are offered.

You will contribute to innovative approaches, engage with clients and stakeholders, and uphold health, safety, and quality standards across projects worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered status or progress towards ICE/CIWEM membership.
• Experience leading engineering design teams and delivering on budgets/schedules.
• Mentoring junior staff and developing technical skills.
• Strong client-facing experience and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of project delivery, including health & safety, quality, schedule and budget.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with clients and stakeholders.
• Shape service delivery and identify opportunities to leverage wider WSP capabilities.
• Build and maintain client relationships to ensure project outcomes and satisfaction.
• Oversee bid preparation, resource planning and budget development.
• Support recruitment and development of civil engineering staff.
