Job summary

NEI Electric Power Engineering is seeking a senior Team Lead in Renewable Civil to manage engineers, drafters, and technicians on Solar Photovoltaic projects. You will oversee site planning, grading, stormwater modeling, and permitting while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

The role allows Lakewood, CO in-office or full-time remote work. You will mentor staff, develop SBPs, and collaborate with clients to meet technical and commercial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering or civil engineering technology.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• FE licensure required; PE preferred.
• Ability to mentor and coach staff and sustain high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed civil/structural design for solar PV projects.
• Review submittals for conformance with client specs.
• Prepare calculations and design packages.
• Mentor engineers, drafters, and technicians on the team.
• Support business development and proposals as needed.
• Coordinate with project team and clients to deliver results.
