Job summary

NEI Electric Power Engineering is seeking a Team Lead in the Renewables Studies group to manage a team of engineers responsible for power systems modelling and analysis.

You will ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality electrical engineering scopes, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to align project goals. This role combines mentorship, technical leadership, and client-facing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• FE license required; PE preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• Proficiency with power system modelling and associated software.
• Strong written and verbal communication; client liaison skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers in renewables studies and power systems analysis.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and quality study deliverables.
• Provide regulatory and technical guidance across project phases.
• Support proposals, cost estimates, and budgets.
