Job summary

NEI Electric Power Engineering is seeking a Senior Physical Engineer in Renewables (PPM) to lead project-based design and analysis under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer. You will support client projects and deliver quality work on time and within budget.

Based in Lakewood, CO or remote candidates can be considered. A Bachelor’s in Civil or Electrical Engineering is required with 5+ years of experience; FE/PE preferred. Proficiency with AutoCAD, MathCAD and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• FE or PE licensure preferred; must be authorized to work in the United States full-time.

Responsibilities

• Phase Manager (PPM): lead project scope, budget, task delegation, client interaction and execution with technical quality oversight.
• QA / QC work: implement the NEI Quality Assurance Plan and review work for quality and accuracy.
• Training: train junior engineers and designers in physical design of electrical substations & BESS facilities.
• Writing: assist with developing technical guidelines and training documents.
