Job summary

Matrix PDM Engineering, a subsidiary of Matrix Service Company, is seeking a Civil Senior Engineer I with a strong technical background to develop deliverables for industrial site development projects. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and effective collaboration with project teams and clients.

Responsibilities include developing design concepts, calculations, specifications, and construction drawings; coordinating with topographic/hydrographic surveys and subconsultants; serving as lead

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• PE licensure.
• 6+ years related engineering experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under deadlines.
• Detail oriented and committed to quality.
• Experience in industrial and/or commercial site development, rail, utilities and permitting processes.
• Proficiency in Civil/HEC tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, calculations, specifications and construction drawings.
• Lead engineer overseeing designers and project personnel, monitoring budgets and schedules.
• Interface with permitting agencies, rail operators and utility companies.
• Prepare written scopes of work and coordinate surveys and subconsultants.
• Assist in preparation of proposals.
