Matrix PDM Engineering is seeking a Civil Senior Engineer I to apply a strong technical background to industrial site development deliverables. You will lead engineering teams, coordinate surveys, and interface with permitting agencies and clients in a dynamic environment.

The role requires a PE license, a BS in Civil Engineering, and 6+ years of related experience, with strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Requires PE licensure and BS in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years related engineering experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in industrial/commercial site development and rail/track.
• Knowledge of permitting processes and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Lead Engineer, supervising designers and staff, monitoring budgets and schedules.
• Functions as engineer-of-record for civil/site project scope.
• Prepares scopes of work and coordinates surveys with subconsultants.
• Prepares technical reports and assists in proposals.
• Overtime and travel may be required.
