Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a self-driven Civil Engineer to join our multi-discipline team across industrial and manufacturing projects.

The role includes designing site infrastructure, coordinating with survey and 3D scanning services, and preparing contract drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil Engineering, 4–10 years of experience, and a PE or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a four-year ABET-accredited college or university.
• Four to ten years of related civil engineering experience.
• PE Required or ability to obtain within 12 months of start date.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite; AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for local/daytime travel; overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead designs for site grading, site layout, stormwater management, sanitary and water piping, and related facilities for industrial/mfg sites.
• Develop engineering contract documents including drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Office programs.
• Lead field data gathering including surveying, 3D scanning, and GPR work.
• Estimate material take-offs and prepare budgetary construction cost estimates.
