Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Power team. This role can be performed from anywhere in the United States. You will provide technical leadership, review complex designs, and coordinate with project teams to deliver power infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in civil engineering for power/transmission projects, design experience, and a PE license in the USA. The role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and PE license in the USA.
Knowledge of North American codes, regulations and standards.
Experience in design including site development, grading, drainage, and road design.
Working knowledge of civil design standards in the USA.
Strong communication, report writing, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Review and authenticate designs of site preparation, storm water management, site grading, access roads and fencing for power projects.
Liaise with discipline leads, PMs, vendors, contractors and clients to facilitate information flow and provide design clarifications.
Apply knowledge of codes, regulations and standards; follow municipal specs and best practices.
Provide technical leadership to the Civil team on projects.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical input.
Monitor project schedule and budgets and report status.
Attend project meetings as required.
