Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer for our Power team. This role can be performed from anywhere in the United States.

You will lead project teams, prepare/verify transmission line deliverables, and coordinate with clients and vendors to ensure design quality and on-time delivery. Requirements include a university degree in electrical or civil engineering, 4+ years of relevant experience, and US PE registration.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical or Civil engineering.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in the United States is mandatory.
• 4+ years of related engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of transmission lines (115 kV+).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office, and PLS-CADD/PLS-Pole; knowledge of PLS-Tower, SAGSEC, CAISSON is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise small to large project teams in the Power sector.
• Prepare/review transmission line deliverables and drawings.
• Review material lists, procurement, and supplier bids.
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance.
• Coordinate with discipline leads, project managers, vendors, and clients.
• Maintain project schedules and budgets and document progress.
