Job summary

Kleinfelder's Design team is seeking a Civil Engineer (P.E.) to support development projects in the Mid-Atlantic region, including land development and power grid resiliency. The role may involve commercial, industrial, solar, and mining projects.

Locations include Hunt Valley, MD and Hanover, MD. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, 8–10 years in erosion and sediment control and post-construction stormwater design, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, and HydroCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 8-10 years of erosion and sediment control design and post-construction stormwater design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, and HydroCAD.

Responsibilities

• Site layout and grading.
• Erosion and sediment control design.
• Post-construction stormwater design across multiple jurisdictions (MD preferred).
• Prepare NPDES permit applications.
• Land development applications per applicable ordinances.
• Zoning compliance.
