Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Civil Engineer (E.I.T) to support land development and power grid resiliency projects in the Mid-Atlantic region, including Hanover, MD, and Mechanicsburg, PA. The role covers site layout, erosion control, and stormwater management.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering degree and 3–6 years of experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, and Hydroflow. An Engineer in Training certificate is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a clear career path.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in erosion and sediment control design, and post construction stormwater design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, and Hydroflow.

Responsibilities

• Site layout & grading.
• Erosion and sediment control design.
• Post construction stormwater management.
• Prepare NPDES permit applications
• Land development applications in accordance with federal, state, and local ordinances.
• Zoning compliances.
