Job summary

Kleinfelder seeks a Civil Engineer (E.I.T) to join our Design Services team in the Mid-Atlantic, supporting land development, power grid resiliency, and related projects in Hanover, MD and Mechanicsburg, PA. You will design site layouts, erosion & sediment control, post-construction stormwater, and assist with NPDES permits, zoning compliance, and approvals.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Hydroflow is expected; Engineer in Training certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in erosion and sediment control design, and post construction stormwater design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, and Hydroflow.

Responsibilities

• Work with our current staff on the development of designs and plans related to site layout and grading, erosion and sediment control design, and post-construction stormwater management.
• Prepare NPDES permit applications and land development applications in accordance with federal, state, and local ordinances.
• Assist with zoning compliance and approvals.
