Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Civil Engineer (P.E.) to join our Design Services team on Mid-Atlantic projects, including land development and power grid resiliency, in Hunt Valley, MD and Hanover, MD. You will lead design efforts across disciplines for commercial, industrial, solar, and mining developments.

The role requires 8–10 years of erosion and sediment control experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD, and a PE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in erosion and sediment control design, and post-construction stormwater design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of designs and plans for site layout and grading.
• Prepare NPDES permit applications.
• Develop land development applications in accordance with federal, state, and local ordinances.
• Ensure zoning compliance.
